Alicante is getting a new summer headline event.
For the first time, Aquarela Music arrives as a boutique-style concert series built around one simple idea: big artists, fewer crowds and a Mediterranean setting right by the sea. The festival runs during July and takes place at Muelle Live, inside Alicante’s port area.
Unlike a typical multi-stage festival where you spend half the evening walking between acts, Aquarela focuses on individual concert nights and a more relaxed experience.
📍 Where Is Aquarela Music Held?

The concerts are hosted at Muelle Live (Muelle 12 de Levante) in Alicante’s harbour area.
That means:
🌊 Sea views
🌴 Evening summer atmosphere
🚶 Easy access from central Alicante
🎶 Open-air concerts
The venue is designed to feel more intimate than large festival grounds while still hosting major artists. Reported capacities vary depending on the event format.

What Makes Aquarela Different?
Aquarela is positioning itself away from the classic “festival overload” model.
Instead of:
❌ multiple overlapping stages
❌ all-day crowds
The concept focuses on:
✔️ One main show per evening
✔️ Better visibility
✔️ Premium atmosphere
✔️ Concert-first experience
That makes it surprisingly attractive even for visitors who normally do not attend festivals.
Which Nights Look the Most Interesting?
If you want variety:
🎸 Alan Parsons Live Project (6 July)
For classic rock and legendary live production.
🎤 Pablo Alborán (9 July)
Probably one of the strongest mainstream nights.
✨ Anastacia (15 July)
A rarer international appearance in an open-air seaside venue.

🎶 Luz Casal (18 July)
Strong closing-night atmosphere.
Is It Worth Adding to Your Alicante Trip?
If your idea of summer is:
Morning → beach
Evening → live music
Night → walking back along the marina
…then this festival feels built for exactly that.
Alicante already had beaches.
Now it is trying to become a stronger summer concert city too.
