FIJAZZ Alicante 2026: 9 Summer Nights of Jazz and Flamenco

Not every summer concert in Alicante needs giant stages and festival crowds.

This July, one of the city’s most established music events returns with a very different atmosphere.

FIJAZZ Alicante 2026 takes place from 11–19 July and brings together nine evenings built around jazz, flamenco and Mediterranean influences under this year’s theme:

“En Compás de Paz” — In Rhythm of Peace.

Hosted inside ADDA (Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante), the festival focuses less on headline spectacle and more on concerts where musicians and the venue become part of the experience.

📍 Where Does FIJAZZ Take Place?

The festival takes place at ADDA – Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante.

Unlike Alicante’s outdoor summer concerts, this one moves indoors — which in July suddenly becomes a very attractive feature.

Why people like the venue:

✔️ Comfortable seating
✔️ Excellent acoustics
✔️ Air-conditioned hall
✔️ Easy access from central Alicante

🎷 FIJAZZ Alicante 2026 Programme

All concerts are scheduled at 20:30.

11 July — Las Migas — Flamencas

Opening night.

Latin Grammy winners Las Migas arrive in Alicante with a show inspired by traditional flamenco roots interpreted in a contemporary way. Their Alicante appearance is promoted as a first for the festival.

12 July — Jorge Pardo Trio

One of the strongest jazz–flamenco crossover names on the programme.

Flute, saxophone and improvisation take centre stage.

13 July — Marco Mezquida — Táctil

A more intimate evening.

Piano, cello and percussion combine jazz language with Mediterranean influences.

14 July — BvR Flamenco Big Band — Flamenco–Jazz XL

Probably the most ambitious fusion night.

Large ensemble, flamenco dance, jazz structure and multiple guest performers on stage together.

15 July — David Pastor All Stars — Legacy of Blue

Inspired by the universe of Kind of BlueMiles Davis and John Coltrane.

This looks like one of the strongest pure-jazz evenings of the festival.

16 July — Iberian Trio — Ponte Ibérica

Portuguese and Spanish influences meet jazz improvisation.

One of the quieter but potentially most interesting nights.

17 July — Carles Benavent Trio

Jazz meets Mediterranean roots.

Good option if you enjoy music that feels more local than international festival lineups.

18 July — Niño Josele — Paz

One of the most talked-about concerts of the programme.

Twenty years after release, Paz returns as a tribute to Bill Evans, reimagined through flamenco guitar.

19 July — Zenet — La voz y las manos

Closing night.

Zenet presents material from his newer work in a performance described as one of his more personal live concepts.

Which Night Would We Choose?

For first-time visitors:

🎷 David Pastor → classic jazz energy
💃 BvR → biggest fusion experience
🌅 Zenet → relaxed summer closing night

Is FIJAZZ Worth Adding to Your Alicante Trip?
